End Result, Inc. (ERI). is a national running and multi-sport service company specializing in timing, scoring, and related data services. The company was founded in 1982. In 1997, End Result became one of the first US users of ChampionChip RFID timing products. In 2007, End Result moved all of its timing to the more flexible, dual-frequency IPICO RFID timing system.

Nationally-Recognized Clients

  • 500 Festival Mini-Marathon (Indianapolis, Indiana)
    1998 - 2007 - End Result provided all timing and scoring services to the Mini-Marathon, the nation's largest half-marathon (29,213 finishers in 2007). Timing equipment and scoring services have also been provided for satellite races in Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2003, End Result debuted the "result tent" - a one-stop-shop for personalized results available to all participants, friends, and family members throughout the race.
  • Austin Marathon (Austin, Texas)
    2007 - End Result assisted Run On! / Racing Systems with timing and scoring duties for the 2007 Austin Marathon. In addition, End Result's OnlineRaceResults.com website hosted real-time results during the event.
  • BolderBOULDER 10k (Boulder, Colorado)
    Since 2008 - End Result provides all timing and scoring services to the BolderBOULDER 10k - one of the largest timed races ever (48,000+ finishers in 2008, 54,000 registered participants). Timing points are provided at every mile, and near-real-time results are posted to End Results highly available server cluster.
  • Boston Marathon (Boston, Massachusetts)
    2000 - 2007 - End Result provided timing services to the Boston Marathon - coordinating, collecting and transmitting real-time data from the start, finish, and split points (every 5k).
  • Chicago Marathon (Chicago, Illinois)
    2006 - 2007 - End Result provides timing services to the Chicago Marathon - coordinating, collecting and transmitting real-time data from the start, finish, and split points (every 5k). In 2006, End Result provided personal, printed results at the Chicago Marathon post-race parties.
  • Eugene Marathon (Eugene, Oregon)
    since 2007 - End Result provides timing and scoring services to the Eugene Marathon.
  • Grandma's Marathon (Duluth, Minnesota)
    2001 - 2007 - End Result works with ChampionChip Minnesota and Sports Management Associates to provide timing and scoring services.
  • Henry Weinhard's St. Patrick's Day Dash (Seattle, Washington)
    since 2007 - End Result provides timing, scoring, and branded online registration services to the St. Patrick's Day Dash.
  • Hy-Vee Triathlon, 2008 Olympic Selection Event (Des Moines, Iowa)
    since 2008 - End Result works with Premier Event Management to time and score all Hy-Vee Triathlon events. In 2008 this included the Olympic Selection Event for the US Olympic Triathlon team. End Result produced live internet results for ITU's TriCast player during the Olympic event.
  • IMT Des Moines Marathon (Des Moines, Iowa)
    since 2007 - End Result provides timing, scoring, email and text messaging to the IMT Des Moines Marathon.
  • Iron Girl Series (multiple locations)
    since 2007 - End Result provides timing, scoring, finisher certificate, and result tent services to all Iron Girl events nationwide (8 locations in 2007, 10 in 2008).
  • Los Angeles Triathlon (Los Angeles, California)
    2006, 2008 - Present - End Result provided all course timing and live data feeds to the Accenture Triathlon Alert System. Because of a successful New York City Triathlon, Accenture contacted End Result to provide these services when the existing contractor could not.
  • New York City Triathlon (New York, New York)
    since 2006 - End Result works with Premier Event Management to process live results from six timing locations on the course, and to send those times to the Accenture Triathlon Alert System.
  • Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma)
    since 2005 - End Result works with Event Tech to provide a result tent with live finish and split data to all participants, friends, and family members. In addition, End Result provides personalized PDF finisher certificates to all finishers.
  • Shamrock Shuffle 8k (Chicago, Illinois)
    2006 - 2007 - End Result provides timing services for the Shamrock Shuffle 8k - the largest 8k in the United States (23,688 finishers in 2007).
  • Thanksgiving Day Race (Cincinnati, Ohio)
    since 2001 - End Result provides timing, scoring, and online registration services to the Thanksgiving Day Race - the third oldest race in the United States (100 years in 2009) and one of the largest Thanksgiving Day races in the country (10,623 finishers in 2007).
  • Tuscaloosa Tri-Fest and Olympic Triathlon Trials (Tuscaloosa, Alabama)
    2008 - End Result assisted Team Magic in timing the Tuscaloosa Tri-Fest including the Olympic Triathlon Trials and 2012 Talent races. All events were timed with the IPICO multi-sport tag.
  • Twin Cities Marathon (Minneapolis, Minnesota)
    2001 - 2006 - End Result assisted ChampionChip Minnesota in timing and scoring duties in addition to providing online hosting of results.
  • White Rock Marathon (Dallas, Texas)
    since 2005 - End Result assists Run On! / Racing Systems with scoring duties for the White Rock Marathon.
